Dedicate a storage PC
Install the agent on another Windows PC or server and switch it to Storage mode. It provides storage instead of running backups of its own.

Choose drives and limits
Select the drives and how much capacity to dedicate. The agent creates a protected folder for encrypted backups and reports usage and actual drive free space.

Choose it in your backup policy
Select your cloud allocation or an available storage-agent drive linked to your account. Each policy has its own destination.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
A few things worth knowing.
Can I back up a NAS or shared folder?
Yes. A Windows agent with access to the network share can back up selected folders. The agent needs to be running and able to reach the share.
Do I need to buy cloud storage?
No. Agent-only starts at R120/month for two agents: one on the PC or server being backed up, and one on another Windows PC or server acting as storage on the same LAN. You provide the local hardware and capacity. Add a cloud allocation when you want a separately configured off-site backup.
Can I use cloud storage and a storage agent?
Yes. If both are linked to your account, choose the destination in each backup policy. To keep both local and cloud copies, configure separate policies. Selecting a storage agent does not automatically mirror that backup to the cloud.
Can my storage agent be at another office?
Not yet. The backup agent and storage agent must be on the same LAN. Cross-site relay is planned for later; this is not an internet-accessible storage endpoint.
Who can use my storage, and how do I restore?
Your storage-agent destinations are only available within your account. For a LAN restore, the original backup computer and storage agent must be online on the same LAN. Start the restore from your account; browser file and ZIP downloads are not available for LAN backups.
Will every backup upload all my files again?
Deduplication reuses content already stored. Transfer needs depend on what changed, your connection and your backup configuration.
How do I know I can recover?
Review completion reports and regularly test a restore. You can browse retained recovery points and restore selected files. Backup is not a substitute for testing recovery.
Can I sign up and pay online?
Self-service checkout is coming later. Email us for a quote and help choosing your setup. The plans shown here are draft estimates; VAT treatment and final billing terms will be confirmed before purchase.
